Sentença sem Fronteiras

Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2025

Sentença sem Fronteiras respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and applicable Portuguese law. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and what your rights are.

1. Data Controller

Sentença sem Fronteiras — represented by Dr Nina Dourado, lawyer registered with the Portuguese Bar Association. Contact: atendimento@sentencasemfronteiras.com | Website: sentencasemfronteiras.com

2. Data Collected

We collect only the data you voluntarily provide through the forms on our website. This data includes:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • WhatsApp number
  • Service of interest
  • Other data you choose to share in the client intake form (date of birth, nationality, document number)

3. Purpose of Processing

Your data is processed exclusively to:

  • Send the requested commercial proposal (pricing and conditions of the legal service)
  • Communicate about the progress of your process, if you accept the proposal
  • Send the legal updates newsletter, if you have explicitly subscribed

4. Legal Basis

The processing of your data is based on two legal grounds provided for in the GDPR: (a) consent — by filling out the form, you expressly consent to the processing of your data for the stated purposes; and (b) legitimate interest — the provision of the requested legal service. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before that withdrawal.

5. Data Storage

Data submitted through the forms is stored in a Google Sheets spreadsheet, accessible exclusively by Dr Nina Dourado. Transmission is done through the Make.com platform (formerly Integromat), which acts as a data sub-processor. Google servers are located in the European Union or in countries with adequate data protection recognized by the European Commission.

6. Sharing with Third Parties

Your data may be shared only with the following sub-processors, strictly necessary for the provision of the service:

  • Make.com (Celonis SE) — data flow automation; privacy policy available at make.com/en/privacy-notice
  • Google LLC — storage in Google Sheets; privacy policy available at policies.google.com/privacy

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.

7. Retention Period

Your data is retained for the period necessary for the provision of the service and compliance with applicable legal obligations (in particular, the document retention obligations set out in the Portuguese Bar Association's ethical rules). If no service is contracted, contact data will be deleted within 12 months of form submission.

8. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erasure — request the deletion of your data ('right to be forgotten')
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Restriction — request the suspension of processing under certain circumstances
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest

9. Cookies

Our website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We do not install Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party tracking tool. Fonts are served locally — there are no calls to external font servers. We may use strictly necessary technical cookies for the website to function (for example, to remember language preference), without collecting any personal data.

10. Contact for Exercising Rights

To exercise any of the above rights or for any question regarding the processing of your personal data, please contact us by email: atendimento@sentencasemfronteiras.com.
